Privacy Policy — storyseller-books

Last updated: November 2, 2026

storyseller-books is an internal bookkeeping tool built and operated by Wesley Foster Films, doing business as storyseller media (“we”, “us”), Derry, New Hampshire. It is not offered, sold, or made available to any other person or business.

What it accesses. With our own authorization, storyseller-books connects to the QuickBooks Online company file belonging to storyseller media. It reads and writes our own accounting records: invoices, payments, expenses, transfers, customers, vendors, the chart of accounts, and financial reports. It also reads transaction exports from our own business bank accounts.

How it is used. This data is used only to keep storyseller media’s own books accurate and up to date. It is not sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

Where it is stored. The tool runs on a computer owned and controlled by storyseller media. Access credentials are stored locally on that computer and are never published or transmitted to anyone other than Intuit. Working files (bank exports and monthly review notes) stay on that same computer.

Customer and vendor information. Our QuickBooks file contains names, email addresses, and transaction histories of our own clients and vendors, as any business’s books do. storyseller-books handles that information only to record and reconcile transactions with those clients and vendors.

Disconnecting. We can revoke storyseller-books’ access at any time from QuickBooks Online (Settings, then Apps) or from the Intuit Developer portal. When access is revoked, the stored credentials stop working.
